Your New Role
Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity for a Level 1 Service Desk Engineer has been created to join the Service Desk team. Working under the guidance of accomplished IT professionals, this person will be exposed to the latest technologies and hardware as you grow your skill set and advance your career.
Some of the key tasks will include:
Be the first point of contact for external clients experiencing issues.
Ensure tickets are logged and actioned in a timely manner.
User Access management including de-activation and setting up new users.
Management of hardware including laptops, desktops, tablets, printers and phones.
Participate in your customers IT Projects.
About You!
The ideal candidate will be a recent IT Graduate with up to 2 years of entry level experience and is looking for an opportunity to grow your career within IT.
Other attributes include:
Completed a Degree in Computing / IT or have a Diploma or similar.
Can demonstrate sound knowledge of IT concepts.
Will possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Has a great attitude, is a good listener and is eager to learn.
Can demonstrate a solid work ethic in prior pursuits.
Is a team player and enjoys working with others.
As this is a permanent position, we ask that all applicants are either a Permanent resident or Australian Citizen only.
