This Government organisation is based in Sydney CBD and is currently seeking two
IT Service Desk analysts to join the helpdesk team. You will be one of the key support points providing on-site support. This is in a 4- month contract to potential to be extended. This is an immediate start.
Your new role
As a Service Desk Analyst, you will support users with Level 1 technical issues, including deployment of desktops. You will be supporting Microsoft products and be responsible for answering the phone and being that first point of contact providing top tier customer service. You will work in a small but busy team, delivering IT support to end users, which will include Windows 10, application management, Exchange management, Active Directory, and 0365. You will be configuring and setting up laptops (acer laptops) and provide some support of mobile devices (configuring emails and VPN on the users’ phones).

  What you'll need to succeed

To be a fit for this role you will have minimum 1 years recent experience in a Level 1

Provide support to Windows environment, manage AD and AD user management

Experience providing support on O365 environment

Experience in providing on-call and remote support for many end-users

Experience in developing desktops

Experience with Microsoft products

Experience Configuration and support of mobile devices

Some networking skills

Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal to ensure you provide excellent Customer Service experience

Dealing with a high demanding customer on a support phone line and ticketing system

Being responsible for the completion of job tickets from start to finish
