This SA Government Department supports Central and Local Health Networks to deliver ICT services.
Your new role
Reporting to the team lead, the Service Desk Officers will be required to deliver ICT support services for procurement/ financial related systems (Oracle and Basware). You will be working with a small team of 7 members providing customer support in terms of the principles, practices and Government policies associated with supply chain management and procurement.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will possess below skills and experience -- Use of procurement/financial related systems (Oracle (mandatory), Basware (desirable))
- Experience in managing and maintaining electronic databases and ensuring the integrity of data.
- Call centre/Service Desk experience – high level customer service
- Knowledge of the principles, practices and Government policies associated with supply chain management and procurement.
- Knowledge of SA government ICT standards and practices
- Ability to set priorities, meet critical deadlines and undertake multiple tasks in a highly organised manner
