Our client is a leading global organization, is seeking a motivated Service Desk Officer to join our dynamic team. As part of our share service function, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to our clients across various business streams. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a large ASX listed business, offering internal growth prospects and development opportunities as we embark on transformation and growth projects.
Responsibilities:
Provide level 1 support for incoming queries and sites
Respond to queries and issues in person, over the phone, and via email
Capture queries and issues in the service desk system
Communicate regularly and provide updates to users
Address queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
Deliver basic user training to enhance technology utilization
Setup and maintain workstations, peripherals, and network devices
Install software tools and business applications
Investigate, test, and implement new hardware and software
Resolve technical problems with hardware and software
Provision user accounts into active directory and business systems
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar service desk or technical support role
Cert II or III in IT is desirable
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Knowledge of hardware and software installation and configuration
Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
