The Role

This is a Permanent Full time role.

The Service Leader will oversee 4 SIL houses located on the Gold Coast and Logan to deliver services to clients, staff, and service stream in a client catchment area, demonstrating a collaborative leadership style with best practice expertise providing supervision and case management. You will also be responsible for the on-call phone once every 6 weeks. 

The position is focused upon developing methods ensuring that clients are enabled to maximise choice and control, and staff are actively supporting services to be safe and compliant. As Service Leader you will ensure the service delivers individual, flexible, innovative responsive and timely support to service users in line with the clients available funding in conjunction with our Mission, Vision and Values, and policies and procedures. This is delivered by contributing to a positive workplace culture with a primary focus on client experience, brand awareness and commercial focus in an adaptive and changing environment.

To Be Successful

1. Diploma or higher qualification in Community Services/ Disability or equivalent, or relevant demonstrated industry experience. 
2. Demonstrated experience of working in a leadership role in a human services organisation.
3. Knowledge and understanding of funding standards and guidelines, and current legislation.
4. Strong coordination, leadership, and peer support skills.
5. Strong written and computer skills for the creation of plans, programs, reports, and correspondence.
6. High level communication, influencing, liaison and negotiation skills.
7. Established problem solving and conflict management skills.

Additional Criteria

1. Positive Notice Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
2. National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
3. NDIS SCreening or willingness to obtain.
4. Current “C” class QLD Driver License

Salary and Benefits

1. $93,858pa - $95,875pa + Super
2. Fleet vehicles available for work use
