The Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Manage and schedule the maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire safety equipment and systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers.
- Supervise a team of service technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all service activities comply with local, state, and federal fire safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving service-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate service records, prepare reports on equipment status, and track service activities.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
- Implement and improve service processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the highest level of service quality.
The Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar role within the fire industry or related field.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety equipment and systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in using Service Management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
