The Opportunity
Based in Derrimut at our Service and Repair Centre, we are seeking an experienced Service Manager to join the team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Service Manager is the face of the business, who will overlook and be responsible for managing our Service Advisor team and Workshop team!
We are currently in an expansion and growth stage, we have a new state of the art facility that will opening within the next 12 months located nearby with the Service Manager taking an active involvement in the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business plans, forecasts, budgets and performance targets
- Lead the business to reach its performance goals
- Focus on service profitability through upsell initiatives and efficiency enhancements of the workshop
- Continuing to support and develop the Team to ensure they deliver service excellence to our Customers
- Manage the maintenance of the plant, equipment and site to ensure it operates with maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with MaxiTrans Plant Engineering Team to investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Take a pro-active approach to improve workshop output quality and productivity.
- Develop a receptive team environment that encourages cooperation, communication and a proactive approach to daily operations ensuring continuous improvement of the team.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Service Manager
- Experience in the heavy vehicle or transport industry
- Keen to learn and develop your skills and that of your Team
- Customer Service experience
- Focused on attention to detail
