Location: Our dealership in Mackay, Queensland, with occasional oversight of service operations.
Position Type: Full-time, permanent, salaried.
Salary: $100,000 plus superannuation, dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee service operations for automobiles
- Implement detailed service plans, ensuring adherence to project specifications and cost estimations
- Prepare technical reports and necessary documentation compliant with regulatory standards
- Ensure timely project completion within allocated budgets
- Collaborate with technical leads, senior service personnel, and clients to present analysis and solutions as required
- Manage tasks both at the dealership and on-site for clients, which may involve occasional travel
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrable experience in Service Management within automotive servicing
- Up-to-date knowledge of automotive servicing methodologies and technical advancements
- Proficiency in critical software applications related to automotive diagnostics
- Expertise in data analysis, problem-solving, and a knack for design thinking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations
- A collaborative team player with initiative and the ability to work independently
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining service quality
- Familiarity with industry regulations, codes, and standards
- Proactive and adaptable approach to managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
