The Role
Located in Lesmurdie, this community consists of a 33 bed residential facility and 56 independent living units and is renowned for the provision of outstanding care and lifestyle programs provided to its discerning residents.
With the support of a dedicated team of aged care professionals, you will have a broad spectrum of responsibilities for the delivery a high standard of care and lifestyle to residents, as well as ensuring adherence to compliance accreditation standards.
As the leader of the facility, you will contribute to the efficient and effective management of HR and financial management according to the strategic plan and budget. This role is a people and business operations position, requiring a manager who can lead, nurture and inspire the team of dedicated staff whilst ensuring high level of care is maintained.
Key Selection Criteria
We are seeking an experienced aged care manager with strong clinical and operational skills. Experience in aged care combined with your strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor staff is essential. You will also need to possess the following:
- Strategic communication skills
- Sales & business acumen
- Demonstrated knowledge & understanding of the aged care standards and accreditation process
- Proven experience in human resource, financial and operational management
- Passion and commitment to the development of your team
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement, OHS and risk management
