Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Service Receptionist / Advisor to join our team in ensuring the highest level of service and customer satisfaction at every step of the service process.
As a Service Receptionist / Advisor based at our newly constructed, Campbell Street Service Centre - equipped with the latest technology and modern conveniences - you will be at the forefront of our commitment to delivering the highest level of service possible to our valued customers.
Your primary responsibility will be to greet and assist customers in the morning, maintain a high level and constant communication standard throughout the service process, provide a point of contact between the customer and techinicians, and ensure that each vehicle is returned to the owner in optimal condition, all while prioritising a positive customer experience.
The role is a customer facing position located in our service area - we are open to considering applications for either customer receptionist or service advisor depending on skills, experience and trade qualifications (with pay rate to be determined accordingly).
This role does not require prior mechanical knowledge, as we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills required to be successful in this role. That said, appropriate trade qualifications (automotive) will be a significant advantage.
Daily Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and assist customers as they arrive at our service centre.
- Complete a structured check-in process and gather any additional information on the customer's vehicle concerns and service needs.
- Explain the service process for the day, including confirming timelines for collection.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles during the day with any additional services required with the information provided by our trained technicians.
- Complete the check-out process, where you will explain the invoice and collect payment for the work carried out.
- Ensure the customer is completely satisfied before they leave by asking for feedback so we can address any concerns or questions they may have.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in a customer service role, preferably where customer satisfaction is measured.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer-centric approach with a genuine desire to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to explain information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Professional and friendly demeanor.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
- Willingness to learn new processes and systems.
- Current drivers’ licence (preferably with Manual).
