Position Overview: 

We are currently seeking a friendly and organized Service Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for customers visiting our service department. The Service Receptionist will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, scheduling service appointments, and ensuring smooth operations at the service desk. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a warm and professional manner as they arrive at the service department.
• Schedule service appointments accurately and efficiently using our dealership's appointment scheduling system.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding service appointments, vehicle maintenance, and repairs.
• Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely completion of service work and maintain an organized workflow.
• Provide information to customers regarding service options, pricing, and estimated completion times.
• Process customer payments for service invoices and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing service records, updating customer information, and preparing service-related documents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the service reception area to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for customers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in an automotive dealership or service environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office and experience with appointment scheduling software is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Knowledge of automotive service terminology and procedures is a plus.
