Planner/Scheduler
This role is based at our head office in Dingley Village (Melbourne) and reports directly to the Service Manager. The primary role is to organise and coordinate our field service technicians, parts requirements, and day to day work scheduling of the service section of the business, with full support from the management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with customers over the phone and through emails to schedule sessions.
- Verifying availabilities of inhouse and external participants for planned services, breakdowns, and scheduled maintenance.
- Efficiently making amendments to the organisational schedule for all available technicians.
- Accurately documenting scheduling processes and keeping client records on both electronic and hard files.
- Undertake other duties as required by the Service manager.
Skills & Requirements
- Previous planning or scheduling experience
- Positive can-do attitude
- Organised with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Strong commitment to deliver excellent customer service
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Work well under pressure
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience in Syrinx and Service Track (an advantage)
- Previous generator experience or general mechanical background will be looked upon favourably.
