Staffing rapidly expands during the delivery of federal electoral events to help manage the increased workload around risk management, fast-moving project work and logistical activities, media, and public scrutiny. Being part of the team at during an electoral event involves contributing to and leading key projects within short timeframes and in a complex, high-pressure environment.

We are seeking a versatile and energetic person to undertake a range of administrative functions in the areas of enrolment, election planning and delivery.
Service Support Officers provide frontline client services to the public, including answering enquiries on and assisting with electoral enrolment and may also include processing special categories of enrolment. During an event you may be required to supervise a small team as well as provide training to aid in the delivery of planned activities.
Service Support Officer positions are part time during core business periods and move to full time during an electoral event. During an electoral event, you could be required to do overtime on weekends and public holidays.
