The Position
As a Service Technician you are responsible for the delivery of various service and maintenance offerings of Ansa Doors and the Austral Monsoon product range. This includes installation, repair, emergency breakdown and other maintenance services required by Ansa Doors customers within our product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair and maintain the Ansa Doors product range along with potentially other products from the AAES group or competitors.
- Service to comply with Ansa Doors policies and procedures.
- Complete paperwork/documents as per quality and timeliness standard
- Liaise with customers in relation to repairs and installation.
- Liaise with Service Coordinators any issues that may arise from sites and other services in full and on time
- It’s a essential to be able to Work flexibly, including attending call-outs or overtime as and when required
- Comply with Company and site inductions/checks (drug, alcohol, police and other required checks) and other WHS requirements at all times
- Maintain work tools in compliance with policies at all times (Motor Vehicle, Tools of Trade, Phone, etc.)
- Coordinate requirements on parts and stocks with Service Coordinators
- Use as instructed, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)/SWMS that has been identified on the Hazard Analysis for the department/role
- Attend and participate in all Toolbox meetings, required training, audits and other programs as required
- Report all safety incidents, hazards and risks as occurred by completing the required documentation and photos
- Comply with AAES Values and Behaviours, Policies and other requirements at all times
- Other tasks that may be required from time to time.
Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will be proactive and self driven.
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Service Technician or 3 years’ experience in roller shutter door manufacturing
- Experience preferably in the building materials, service and/or installation industry
- Knowledge of maintenance processes
- Geographic knowledge of city/state
- Capable to weld various metals
- EWP (Scissor Lift) and Forklift License is a MUST
- Must have current driver’s licence
- Must be able to work flexibly (overtime, out of hours, including weekends)
- Good level of English communication skills
