- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the ServiceNow platform in alignment with program and organisational goals.
- Actively contribute to the review, development and/or sustainment of the agency’s application governance artefacts, including application strategies, architectures, technology roadmaps, policies, and practices.
- Ensure the architecture is scalable, maintainable, and aligns with business processes and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with design and coding standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure performance optimisation.
- Undertake assessments of the platform support documentation, sustainability, and alignment with agency application governance.
- Based on review findings, document identified issues, risks, and opportunities, together with associated actionable recommendations.
- Manage communications with external vendors and partners.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify their requirements and translate them into effect ServiceNow solutions.
- Design and oversee the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Working directly with IT, business areas, application development teams, provide insight and assistance with the scoping, costing, planning and delivery of new application services.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to other team members.
- Stay abreast of ServiceNow updates and industry trends to ensure the platform remains cutting-edge and efficient.
- About the Program
The role will be part of the Chief Information Officer Division which delivers a range of ICT services to the agency including infrastructure, application development and communications. ICT services are delivered through a select sourcing model, with a mixture of in-house and outsourced resources.
The Chief Information Officer Division is committed to building the agency’s information technology capability by providing resilient, modern, and secure systems informed by data and insights, and to upskill teams to develop innovative new products and services.

Selection Criteria
Mandatory:
- Extensive knowledge and experience of ServiceNow solutions.
- Ability to provide domain, architecture, and technical expertise to the agency and stakeholders on ServiceNow projects.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations using best practices and standards.
- Understand and provide advice, guidance and facilitation in regards to ServiceNow best practice development platform, methodology and solution architecture.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. Experience as a Developer or Systems Administrator in working with ServiceNow modules - ITSM , ITOM, and HR.Ability to analyse, estimate, and deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Demonstrated experience to create and maintain technical documentation such as design documents, process flows, and specifications.
- Demonstrated experience working as a ServiceNow Architect working with mission critical solutions.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft development practices, platforms, and technologies, including:
- Office 365 platforms
- SharePoint
- Azure DevOps
- Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate clearly between business areas and technical teams.
- Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM), and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
