Our client are a global financial services organisation and looking for a Settlements Officer to join their team immediately on a 9-month temporary contract with a potential to extend further!
The main purpose of the role is to ensure the accurate compliance, creation and maintenance of customers' contracts, provide a high level of customer service, and contribute to the completion of the daily workflow of settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking compliance of finance documentation to achieve the accurate and timely completion of settlements whilst ensuring that personal and team KPI's are met.
- Authorising and activation of contracts.
- Timely follow up of irregular documentation.
- Be the first point of call for the settlement queries of Business Managers.
- Liaising with internal and external customers to negotiate the resolution of settlement/compliance issues.
What We Are Looking for:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly efficient and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter and exceptional in verbal and written communication skills and highly organised.
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Conflict resolution and negotiation
- Competent with MS Office applications with general computing/admin and organisational skills.
- Experience within the banking, finance or insurance industry preferred but not essential.
- Exposure to roles where compliance or preparation of documents and settlements processes would be an advantage.
