CLUB DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
(2-year Fixed Term Contract – Full Time)
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Club Development Officer to join the team at the Shire of York and work with the Sporting Clubs at the York Community Recreation Centre.
The role requires someone to:
- Provide support to, and opportunities for, sport and recreation groups and other stakeholders across the Shire (Club Development)
- Assist in the delivery of sport and recreation programs
- Assist in the administration of sport and recreation grants
- Assist in the administration of YRCC licences
- Manage the bookings of Shire sporting venues
- Undertake daily operational support relating to the delivery of sport and recreation programs and services
- Be a key contact for WA Country Health, WA Police, and emergency management at the Forrest Oval complex
The CDO will be the main point of contact for all YRCC enquiries from clubs, user groups and community members and will oversee the operation of the YRCC facilities.
Remuneration:
The salary for the position is offered in accordance with Level 5 of the Shire of York Inside Staff Collective Enterprise Agreement 2019 ($78,745 - $82,353) pro rata. Placement within the range will be determined by the applicant’s age, skills and experience.

11.00% superannuation plus salary sacrificing option with matching Shire contribution up to 3.5%.
