We would like to invite applications for the Short-term Principalship at St Martin de Porres School based in Broome.

St Martin de Porres School is a Catholic co-educational secondary CARE (Curriculum and Re-engagement in Education) school which provides an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment for young people who find mainstream school situations difficult. The focus is on nurturing the wellbeing, strengths, and gifts of every young person it serves by providing pastoral care as well as practical, relevant, and motivational learning activities. To be considered for this unique leadership opportunity, candidates must be practising Catholics and highly experienced educators committed to the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
You must have:
- A minimum four-year tertiary qualification although it would be advantageous to demonstrate significant progress towards a master’s degree or higher.
- Accreditation to Lead.
- Current TRBWA and Working with Children requirements.
Applicants should include:
- a cover letter (addressed to the Executive Director) highlighting their suitability and reasons for applying.
- a Curriculum Vitae including:
- Leadership experience,
- Accreditation to Lead number and expiry date,
- Working With Children and TRBWA registration numbers and expiry dates,
- Names and contact details of four referees, one of whom must be the applicant’s current Parish Priest.
