The role of the coordinator will run and manage all aspects of the SIL homes they are allocated to. Less houses but more tasks to do. Focused on person centered care, ability to cover all areas of the house and staff working in the houses.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Liaise with T/L to ensure documents are uploaded on brevity/share point and managing message box
- Staff orientation
- Updating weekly schedules
- Sending weekly good news stories to stakeholders
- Taking house meeting minutes
- Consumables ordering if applicable
- Managing appointments
- Allocating fire evacuations
- PBSP and RP implementation
- Compliance implementation on ground
- Completing safety data sheets and chemical registers
- Actioning relevant stakeholder meeting points
- First point of contact for on ground staff
- Reporting issues/positive feedback to upper management
- Training sign off sheets/acknowledgement forms
- Managing house budgets (gloves, paper towels, stationary, appliances etc) this budget to be set by Finance Manager
- Read previous day case notes
- Ensuring house folders are up to date
- Check charting has been completed
- Reporting maintenance to supervisor/directors
- Quarterly Participant paperwork review(care plans, risk assessments, etc.)
- Medication training
- Approval of staffing teams built by Coordinator and Rosters
- Collecting relevant data and writing end of plan reports
- Stakeholder meetings and reporting issues to management
- Reporting Restrictive Practices to Manager and implementing relevant processes for these
- Signing off on incident reports and liaising with stakeholders around this
- Performing staff reviews for new support workers
- Perform other reasonable duties as directed by the company/management from time to time.
