Hours: Casual
Shift Times: Sleepover 10.30pm-6am bound to morning shift of 6am-9.30am
other times available, please include your working availabilities.

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and caring Support Workers to join our team, providing essential care and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities. This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our participants. Female Support Workers are specifically sought for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support with transfers, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), meal preparation, and personal care for participants requiring assistance.
- Administer medication competently and ensure participants' health needs are met.
- Transport participants using your own car with comprehensive insurance.
Work sleepover shifts and 3.5 hours of morning shifts as required. - Maintain a safe and supportive environment for participants, managing challenging behaviours effectively.
- Complete household chores and assist with meal preparation.
- Communicate effectively with participants and their families, demonstrating excellent English-speaking skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in manual handling techniques to ensure participant safety.
- Work unsupervised while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
- Obtain or possess current First Aid Certification and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Requirements:
- Female Support Workers only.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Excellent English speaking skills.
- Proficiency in manual handling.
- Own car with comprehensive insurance for participant transport.
- Current First Aid Certification with CPR.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance or willingness to obtain.
- Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and proven ability to manage challenging behaviours.
