Housing Plus is a leading NFP Community Services organisation, providing housing, domestic violence, homelessness and other community services in NSW. We are currently looking for a Support Worker to work within our Homelessness Team based in Orange.
Duties will include:
- Provide a targeted crisis response for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
- Case manage clients with the intention of working towards completion of their case plans or supporting them to access Sustaining Tenancies support to finish their plans.
- Maintain official records and documents to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legislation.
- Refer clients at serious threat of further harm to a Safety Action Meeting (SAM), a regular meeting of local agencies and services aimed at lessening or preventing serious threats to victims through targeted information sharing.
- Travel as required to manage the portfolio.
To be successful, you will ideally have some experience in the community services sector, or be undertaking studies in the area.
You will also need to be sensitive to the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, high organised with strong administration and computer skills. The ability to work independently on your own is essential.
You will also need a current Driver’s Licence and ability to obtain a Police Check and Working with Children Check.

This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week contracted up until 30 June 2026.
