About the role - North Brisbane
We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Disability Support Workers to support our clients in their homes, across several locations in the Moreton Bay region. You will be joining a great team with a stable, rotating, 24-hour coverage, roster in place.
You will assist our clients with maintaining their independence, their homes, and with accessing their communities. This will include support with:
- Making and maintaining community connections
- Managing and maintaining complex health needs
- Personal Care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Scheduling and attending appointments and social events
- Meal planning and preparation
- Participation in recreational activities
- Shopping
- Light cleaning and other domestic duties
- Light gardening and minor yard maintenance

Must haves -
- A relevant qualification in Disability, Community Services or equivalent
- Minimum 1 years experience in supporting people living with a disability
- A clean reliable vehicle, and a current Australian driver’s licence
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and maintain the vaccination status as per the Queensland Government Direction
To be a successful candidate you must have, and maintain the following:
- Verification of work rights in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- National Police Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Blue Card
