The Site Accountant at our Rocklea site will play a pivotal role in financial accounting, forecasting, and reporting. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, supporting decision-making processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial management activities for the Rocklea site
- Conduct accurate financial accounting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure the financial health of the site
- Act as a trusted Business Partner to the Operations Manager and broader leadership team at Rocklea
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and operational excellence
- Provide timely and insightful reporting to key stakeholders to facilitate effective decision-making
- Ensure clear communication of financial information to support strategic initiatives
- Play a key role in managing site-based capital requests
- Lead financial forecasting for capital projects and contribute to their successful execution
About You
- Degree qualification in finance or Accounting
- Professional accounting qualification either CPA or CA
- Proven experience in a financial accounting role, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
