About the Project: John Holland in partnership with McConnell Dowell (Joint Venture) are delivering the Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro Project in Far North Queensland. This is an innovative project that involves the world-first conversion of a disused gold mine into a pumped storage hydroelectric power generation facility in far-north Queensland (270km NW of Townsville). This project received funding from ARENA as part of ARENA's Advancing Renewables Program and is a gamechanger for the clean energy industry worldwide as it is an entirely new approach to large-scale energy storage. We are currently recruiting for an organised, experienced and driven Site Administrator to be part of our exciting project. About the role: Working on a 14/7 FIFO roster with a 20% uplift on your salary - As a Site Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Kidston project team, which will include tasks such as data entry; the maintenance of financial records; compiling of reports; processing invoices and general administration tasks to support the project team. Responsibilities of the role include: Ensure expenses, invoices and timesheets are processed in a timely manner Maintain project security by following procedures and controlling access to the building eg issuing visitor badges and following visitor sign in procedures Prepare, review and disseminate month-end reports to appropriate personnel Assist in the creation and preparation of correspondence, documents, reports, presentations, and/or publications relevant to the operations. Assist other team members with JH systems and programs. Address and respond to internal and external finance enquiries and follow up any outstanding items with the responsible personnel Ensure records are filed and archived Provide general administrative support as and when required Perform all duties in accordance with JH policies, processes, reporting, systems and procedures To be successful in this key role, you must have A minimum of 2 years experience working in an administrative position on a project within the Construction or Engineering industry.
