About the company
The National Group is a leading mining-services company in Australia. For 25 years, we have supplied heavy-earthmoving equipment and end-to-end mining services to the world's largest resource companies. Our machinery is used at flagship Australian mines to produce iron ore, coal, gold, nickel and other commodities.
We have recently been successful in obtaining a 3+ yr contract to Pre-strip a minimum of 45Mbcm of overburden using our modern state of the art ultra-class mining fleet.
About the role
Permanent full-time role
Based out of Moolarben mine site
Data entry for site maintenance system
On-boarding of employees into site systems including organising of pre-employment medicals
Purchasing requirements including creating purchase orders and goods receipting
Keeping records up to date and entering data into spreadsheets and other programs
Other administrative tasks such as maintaining files, stationery orders, keeping meeting minutes, receipting invoices, archiving etc.
Skills & experience
Experience in administration duties
Solid computer entry skills and the ability to quickly pick up new systems
A passion for helping others and doing whatever jobs need doing
Excellent time management and record keeping skills
A good team player attitude
