Our client , in JV partnership with a BoP Contractor, are currently in the installation phase of a 200MW/400MWh utility scale BESS project in the Clare Valley Region, Adelaide. The scope is to supply and commission the BESS area, taking ownership of the installed equipment from the BoP Contractor and commencing pre-commissioning, cold commissioning and hot commissioning including GPS compliance assessment and R2 model validation test.
Reporting to our Site Manager and assisting with day-to-day activities on site, tasks will include:
- Preparing and maintaining site registers.
- Establishing, controlling and maintaining effective filing systems for site and commissioning documents.
- Preparing purchase requisitions and goods receipts for site supplies, arranging logistics of purchased materials and tracking deliveries.
- Collecting project KPI’s and preparing site reports.
- Checking & sorting equipment. General administration duties for the project team as required.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in a construction or mining related field.
- Advanced MS Office proficiency, particularly in Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Hold current and valid Australian driver’s license and own transport to site.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
- Be reliable, adaptable and have a great work ethic.
Beneficial to have:
- SAP experience
- Hold CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry or White Card
- Experience onsite in the Construction industry ( Renewables experience is highly regarded )
- 4/3 Roster initially however may differ.
