Form of workSite Deployment Engineers/ IT Support Technicians needed in NSW, QLD and VIC for Windows 11 rollout.
My Client is running a Windows 11 rollout (and device refresh) across their ~120 sites through QLD/NSW/VIC and is looking to hire a Deployment Engineer/IT Support Technicianin each state who can travel to each of the sites and perform the device refresh, provide some basic training to the 2-10 staff on each site, perform an audit of ICT related equipment at the site, fix any current issues (time permitting), and generally do some good IT PR.These are three-month contracts, set to start ASAP and finish in June. The day rate is up to $700 including super.
They are looking for some good tech all-rounders, but also very important to present well and have good communication skills, as you will need to be able to work with people of very varying IT literacy.
Technical Skills / Qualifications
- Exposure to IT roll outs (ideally for Windows-based PC environments) and the ability to travel onsite during those projects to provide hands on technical support.
- Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Cloud Technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure)
- Good knowledge and experience of all network aspects (WAN, Internet, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP)
- Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Customer service and excellent communication skills
- Experience in ITIL and other best practice IT management methodologies
- Broad experience in supporting Windows-based environment.
- Proven ability to be able to work autonomously on assigned tasks, proactive outlook, and great customer service attitude.
- Ability to manage internal stakeholders and external vendors on project-based migration work.
- A Valid Driver's Licence with the ability to travel (possible overnight stay)
