About the role
As the Site Engineer you will support the Project Engineer and Project team by managing tasks and working with all stakeholders to deliver the contract scope and deliverables on time and within budget. Duties include -
- Forecast planning of program of works and reporting on delays / issues
- Updating the tracker and liaising with stakeholders including the field staff, design and construction teams and project staff
- Manage the BOQ and BOM and assist with final Contract Sums
- Analysing cost and revenue movements for the project
- Managing contractors including approving payments, purchase orders and performance assessment and issues
- Compiling various dashboards and reports for management
About you
To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and proactive in your approach to work. Ideally you will have experience in the telecommunications environment.
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Civil or related)
- Demonstrated knowledge of constructions projects, cost management and finance principles
- Sound communication and time management skills
- Solid experience with Excel
- Ability to reach and understand technical drawings
- Have a good understanding of QA requirements
