AddressBamganie Pets Cremation Service is located in Lethbridge, a rural township 25km north-west of Geelong. Offering the highest standard of companion animal bereavement services and as one of the National Veterinary Care businesses, we operate our own crematorium and provide a dedicated collection service throughout Melbourne and Regional Victoria.
We are seeking a trustworthy and compassionate staff member to join us on a Casual Basis (min. 16 hours per week)
This role is for someone who possesses a high level of emotional intelligence and can respectfully interact with pet owners and veterinary practice staff. You will have strong timekeeping practices and understand the importance of effective customer service delivery.
We are seeking a team member who is capable of performing the following responsibilities:
- Fill in for drivers, packagers and cremation team when required
- Complete paperwork and identification checks accurately
- Basic Site/Yard Maintenance
- Participation in rotating weekend collections
- Other duties as required by Bamganie Management
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Physical fitness and ability to lift 5 - 35kgs regularly
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Punctual and well presented
- Calm, compassionate and professional demeanour
- Self-management, including professionalism, loyalty, positive attitude and respect
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to following procedures and working under strict safety guidelines
- Desire to achieve business results and contribute to team goals
- Able to work in a team and autonomously
- Hold a current Australian Driver's License with ability to drive manual
- Forklift License advantageous
- General handyman/mechanical capabilities/knowledge
- Sound technological ability
