Verix is a specialist leading manufacturer of packaging films for the food industry offering an excellent opportunity to join our rapidly growing team. Located in Campbellfield with easy access from Hume Freeway.
The successful applicant will work closely with our Managing Director, Operations Coordinator and Production Manager to ensure the business is run effectively and efficiently.
This role is critical and requires clear communication skills, the ability to pick up new tasks quickly, be open to learning and using initiative.
Key responsibilities include:
- Entering data, invoices, and warehouse documents into office-based systems
- Preparing packing lists, production sheets, customer orders and delivery dockets for final approval
- Updating stock on hand excel spreadsheets for 3PL warehouse
- Generating Invoices and Purchase Orders using Unleashed software system
- Booking freight orders, generating paperwork for deliveries, organising delivery schedules
- Calling up products and liaising with suppliers and customers
- Carrying out other duties and activities as directed
- Maintaining and improving quality control
- Managing administrative and reception functions and procedures
- Ordering and taking stock of office supplies
Successful applicant needs to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional phone manner
- Experience within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry highly advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office products especially Excel
- Highly organized and be able to multitask
- Data entry background
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
- Well presented with professional work ethic
- Minimal requirement - 1+ years in Administration role
- Experience with Unleashed software system and invoicing is preferred
