Coordinate and ensure the operation and maintenance of the facilities are in accordance with the Company procedures, contracts and regulations, as well as the guidelines of the Head of Operations in order to achieve the goals established to the role. Site Manager will report to Head of Operations and role areas will be broken into asset performance, community engagement, contract monitoring, environmental and safety compliance, cost, and budget requirements

Description
Health and Safety Commitment:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements and regulations.
- Develop and maintain a work environment focused on safety, environment, and quality.
- Supervise all site activities to ensure compliance and safety.
- Implement safe work systems according to Site Management Plans.
- Ensure contractors and personnel adhere to safety standards.
- Assist in developing assurance processes and sharing improvement notices.
- Assist in acquiring and maintaining ISO certifications.
- Ensure works are performed according to established procedures and safety checklists.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance activities.
- Ensure contracted personnel work safely and efficiently.
- Review progress of annual maintenance plans and track maintenance indicators.
- Monitor anomalous conditions and plan corrective maintenance.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections.
- Maintain inventory of tools, consumables, and spare parts.
- Liaise with local communities, attend meetings, and manage complaints.
- Propose improvements to optimize operational processes.
- Manage warranty claims and procurement processes.
- Participate in Preoperative activities and predictive maintenance.
- Collaborate in digitalization efforts related to the role.
- Vocational Educational Training (VET) or Associate Degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical fields.
- Knowledge of the practices, functions, and processes involved in operating a generation plant
- Knowledge of legislation associated with Generation Plants in Australia.
- Knowledge of rotatory equipment monitoring and failure analysis.
- 5 years of experience in supervision positions in renewable energy generation plants.
- Significant understanding and commitment to high standards of health and safety.
- Willingness to travel to other sites when required.
- Solution-oriented, independent, and well-organized.
- Ability to work in teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong ability to host and manage meetings with records.
- Experience in handling tools or systems for monitoring work and documentation.
- Ability to climb wind turbines.
- 12 month assignment possible extension
