We are a fast-moving business that has undergone incredible growth in recent years. We are looking for a Site Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Sydney.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. The Site Manager will work closely with other members of the management team to achieve company goals and objectives.
Duties Include:
- Manage and supervise all site activities, including construction, maintenance, and repair work
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement site-specific plans and schedules to meet project deadlines
- Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met
- Reviewing & understanding detailed plans (Architectural, Services & Schedules) and sequencing work according to best practise and the specific project or client outcomes
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders
- Manage and motivate site staff, including contractors and subcontractors
- Ensure that all site documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a site based role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
- Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
