The role:
The Site Manager / Tonnage Project Manager is responsible for the Engineering & management duties for all works in accordance with IMS procedures, processes and instructions.
All work is to be carried out safely, to the required site-specific requirements in a timely and effective manner. The Site Manager / Tonnage Project Manager will demonstrate teamwork, discipline & initiative in supporting the team to high standards of HSEQ performance, whilst overseeing & managing the budget in consultation with the Project Director and Commercial Manager.
Ensure site personnel implement control measures to minimize risk to health and safety of themselves and others through SWG safe work procedures.

Skills and experience:
- Experienced Steel Fixer
- Proven working experience as a Steel FixingSite Manager / Tonnage Project Manager
- Proven ability to be strategic and translate how to plan and execute projects
- Previous experience running Steel Fixing tonnage projects
- Compliant with HSE policies and procedures and maintenance of high standards of HSEQ performance
- Computer literate and able to complete site time sheets and site paperwork
- Able to read plans, track tonnage installed and work to a project programme
- Report to Management for claims and any site specific / company reporting
- Budget overview and management in consultation with Commercial Managers/s
- Willing to work additional hours and weekends to complete projects on programme
