About the Project & Opportunity:
Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass. This major project will see construction of 8km of single lane highway with 6 bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2.5-year program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.
We are looking for a Site Supervisor for Earthworks and Structures.
Their duties include:
- Oversee subcontractors and the team, ensuring quality work at every stage, while representing the company with professionalism.
- Track project milestones, meticulously verify progress, and uphold the highest quality standards, guaranteeing a successful outcome.
- Continually assesses the project for high-risk activities and hazards and in conjunction with appropriate personnel recommend approach and ensure action is taken.
- Liaise with the client's site representative to ensure the smooth running of the project, while communicating and cooperating with other trades in matters relating to HSEQS, as well as logistics and procurement.
Competencies we are after:
- Experience in civil/ structures project
- Competent in planning and organising work schedules
- Working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same
