About the Position:
WorkPac are currently seeking a Site Specialist to work with our local Mining Client located close to Moranbah, QLD. This position is an initial 6-month duration, potential to extension, Monday to Friday roster.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Advising operational departments of training requirements for the control of material risk and legislative training requirements for plant and equipment.
• Liaising with subject matter experts on training content development and assessments.
• Maintenance of a TNA for site. Providing support, mentoring, and coaching for on the job Trainer and Assessors and training administrators.
• Generating and analysing training data. Designing and developing training packages to meet area operational plans, based on skills needs analysis, training needs analysis and gap closure
Skills and Experience:
• Proficient in the use of the learning management system and have a commitment to further develop skills, experience and relationships within the mine sites operational areas.
• An understanding of the AQF and ASQA.
• Industry skills and experience to ensure that the development of training materials is well planned.
• Ensure business needs are met in an efficient and timely manner.
• Ability to provide advice as the subject matter expert on legislative training and licensing requirements whilst providing a customer focused advisory service.
• Proficient computer skills in Excel and Outlook with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to organise and manage competing demands and priorities.
• Recognise Prior Learning: Demonstrated experience in training administrator / specialist roles.
• Certificate IV Training and Assessment. Proficient in the use of the learning management system and have a commitment to further develop skills, experience and relationships within the mine sites operational areas.
• Proficient computer skills in Excel and Outlook with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to organise and manage competing demands and priorities.
