Site Supervisor/ Production Coordinator

An excellent opportunity exists for a highly organised & driven person with planning, scheduling or warehousing / production administration experience (preferably in the food industry) to take on this role within the company.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for providing planning and scheduling assistance to ensure finished goods are produced to specification, on time and to budget. 

 About The Role:

Reporting through to the Site Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a safe work environment;
• Driving improvements within the business;
• Overseeing general operations and managing future projects;
• Ensuring high levels of quality and operational efficiencies are implemented;
• Managing internal quality standards;
• Determining and planning department/plant requirements;
• and reporting to management on production results. 

About You:

Enthusiastic and possessing a ‘can do’ attitude your proven operational knowledge and business experience will be central to your ability to successfully leading our teams to achieve desired outcomes.  Excellent communication and administration skills, initiative, self motivation and the ability to think strategically, act operationally and engage your team are essential.  Experience working in a similar role within FMCG would be advantageous.

 Ideally you will have:

• Proven extensive production process management experience (preferably in FMCG);
• Ability to effectively plan and organise work schedules in a lean manufacturing environment;
• Project management experience, including supplier agreements and the commissioning / installation of new plant;
• Strong analytical, problem solving and process improvement skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to raise performance through a “hands on” approach to leadership;
• Sound understanding of computer applications (ERP / JDE);
• Knowledge and understanding of, GMPs, HACCP and ISO systems.
