Job Title: Site Supervisor - Rail Sector
Contract Length: Long-Term
Location: Perth
Rail Sector Experience is a Must
Main Purpose of the Role:
▪ Responsible for the successful delivery of all site works ensuring adherence to Client management plans, schedules, standards and specifications.
▪ Primary Point of Contact (POC) for all site sub-contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
▪ Primary POC for sub-contractors on all site matters including construction issues, change management, construction limitations associated with Issued For Construction (IFC) design and issuing of Confirmation of Verbal Instruction's (CVI).
▪ Primary POC for the Nominated Client construction representatives.
▪ Day to day supervision of sub-contractors, surveillance, monitoring and control of sites across various concurrent work sites.
▪ Monitoring all site work progress against the main schedule and immediately reporting all potential and/ or realized delays to the Infrastructure Manager.
▪ Issuing direction to Subcontractors when required.
▪ Provide the Infrastructure Manager regular progress updates as required by the Infrastructure Manager.
▪ Review and confirm all sub-contractors' site works progress reports.
▪ Regularly inspecting site works ensuring Client expectation for quality, constructability methodology and safety are being achieved.
▪ Ensure open quality deficiencies are rectified to the satisfaction of the and Client expectations, within the agreed timeframe.
▪ Assessing applications and issuing of all High Risk Activity Permits.
▪ When available attend all site meetings including daily prestarts, safety standdowns and toolboxes.
▪ Reporting of hazards and incidents both internally and to the Client.
▪ Liaising internally with the Nokia design/ logistics team on site based requirements.

Deliverables/performance measures:
▪ Site works are planned and executed within agreed upon timeframes, as per the schedule, with no delays caused by Client or their sub-contractors.
▪ Site accepted by the Client, with no open deficiencies or quality issues.
▪ Site Documentation uploaded into the tools on time in the agreed format and level of quality.
▪ Adherence to Client mandated safety protocols - no incidents or investigations.

▪ Business Unit: LDO, Service Business Management, Site Engineering and Quality
▪ Reporting lines: Infrastructure Manager, Project Manager, Program Manager, Procurement, LDO Line Manager,
Client team

▪ Sub-Contractors.
Requirements.
Work Experience:
- Experience in either rail or construction works as either a Site Supervisor or Leading Hand.
- Previous experience in the rail would be looked upon favorably.
- Previous experience in telecommunications works beneficial.
Know How:
▪ Understanding and familiarity of the rail environment - desirable.
▪ Understanding and familiarity of Network Operator HSE/Site Procedures and Specifications - desirable.
▪ Strong communication and documentation skills.
▪ High planning capacity
▪ Co-operation/managerial skills to oversee up subcontractors' performance.
Competencies:
▪ PTA Supervised Worker / Protection Officer accreditation - beneficial.
▪ White / Blue Construction card.
▪ WA Driver's License.
