About the role:

As a Site Supervisor with ACC, you will work within a close-knit team reporting to a Project Manager. Your main responsibility will be to carry out the successful delivery of a project on time and to a high standard, while ensuring that subcontractors are working safely, adequately resourced and are supervised and performing in accordance with site requirements. You will play an important contributing role in maintaining and improving relationships with stakeholders and clients throughout the delivery of the project. 

What does this look like? (A snapshot of a Site Supervisor with ACC)

• Planning the construction methodology and sequence of works, site layout, materials handling zones, access & egress to ensure optimal delivery.
• Maintain all documentation: Site Records, Registers and Reports.
• Oversee and ensure the successful execution of construction projects.
• Oversee subcontractors to guarantee their safe work practices, proper resourcing, supervision, and compliance with site specifications.
• Maintain and foster positive and proactive communication with all internal stakeholders, subcontractors, clients. 
• Ensure site safety and environmental management requirements are complied with, which will include liaising closely with the site Safety Officer and conducting regular inspections and assessments

To be successful you will need:

• Proven experience supervising the full range of site-based activities associated with a building and construction project such as the tasks listed above.
• 8+ years' experience in the construction industry, OR transferrable industry/skills.
• Ability to lead a team, and mentor junior team members.
• Strong communication skills as well as documentation.

Licenses/Certifications required:

• Site Supervisor License
• Cert 4 Construction & Building Management
• First Aid, CPR, EWP, Whitecard
