The Role:
We are always on the lookout for highly talented individuals who possess extreme character to join our industry leading team. As such, an opportunity is now available for a Site Supervisor to join our Insurance Builders division. Working mainly on major loss and complex commercial projects, this role will offer plenty job satisfaction with the chance to be part growing and great team!
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of large loss insurance jobs from commencement to completion
- Monitor quality audit reports & ensure items are actioned accordingly
- Engage, coordinate & manage trades during the restoration process for buildings damaged by insurable events in the Perth Metro area
- Communicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs
- Liaise between clients & insurance companies
- Coordinate access to properties with insured parties
- Attend & contribute to meetings
- Complete monthly budget reporting on all projects
- Dispute / issue resolution, as required
- Ensure all inspections, certificates of final inspection from Building Surveyor & relevant documentation is signed off
- Ensure purchase order processes are followed
- Review monthly job cost reports
- Ensure all company OH&S policies are followed at all times
Key Selection Criteria:
- Strong background supervising construction projects
- Relevant building trade qualification, preferably in carpentry
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Strong computer skills
- Relationship building skills
- Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities
- Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client
- Good work ethic
- Computer literacy
- Understanding of OHS practices, legislation, regulations and current market rates/trades
- Current motor vehicle licence
