We’re searching for a Small Catering Team to join us at Esus Centre, a new and innovative service supporting individuals in eating disorder treatment!
The Catering Team provides innovative and creative dishes to encourage clients to develop their relationship with food. Catering team members are strong collaborators with a calm and supportive approach to cooking. The Catering Team work closely with the dietetics team to create a range of nutritionally balanced and appropriate meals and snacks and to support clients to build a positive relationship with food. The Catering Team also work with the wider clinical team and are open to training, feedback and discussion that supports the client’s growth and recovery.
Desired skills and expertise of team members:
Foster a positive working environment to provide a consistent, efficient, and friendly service for patients, colleagues, and visitors.
Experience delivering a high-quality kitchen service.
Previous experience managing exceptional kitchen safety standards.
HACCP trained and currently hold SITSS00069 food safety skill sets or equivalent.
Police Clearance Certificate
Working with Children Check Certificate
Experienced in managing or working in a professional kitchen.
Adheres to all local and national policies and regulatory requirements and standards and leads the organisation in recognising the required policies for and associated procedures for Esus Centre
Ability to source and purchase ingredients on time and within required budget
Reviews and reflects on own performance through effective use of professional and operational supervision and appraisal.
Able to Identify own learning needs and highlight areas of development.
Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work without direct supervision.
Excellent organisational skills
In addition, any ad hoc requirements required within the postholder’s skill set to support Esus Centre may be required.
