My client is a top 50 Australian Accounting firm that is headquartered in Adelaide! This is a permanent role

My client is a medium-sized, innovative multi-disciplinary professional practice, that has been operating successfully for over 40 years. It has grown significantly over the last ten years due to a strong commitment to its client base and the adoption of a multi-disciplinary service approach.
Client and Technical Responsibilities

• Completion of financial and management accounting, superannuation, taxation, and business advisory services for our clients;
• Preparation and lodgement of Client BAS, bookkeeping, and interim financial accounts;
• Review of junior team members’ work to ensure the quality of work is maintained to required standards;
• Preparation and maintenance of accounting working papers in line with Firm Standards;

Operational Responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted production target;
• Manage own workflow to achieve client expectations and in-house turnaround time benchmarks;

Business Development

• Inclusion in promoting the Accounting team service and product offerings by various marketing initiatives;
• Support the Team’s client targets and sales initiatives in designated areas to grow the client and revenue base;
• Promotes all services of the group to clients and proactively identifies opportunities on behalf of other service lines

Client Relationship Management

• Supporting the SMSF Team in client relationship management;
• Proactively works to establish and maintain effective client relationships and continually looks for ways to add value;
• Continually seeks client feedback as to quality of work so as to continually exceed client expectations;

Skills and Competencies

• You have a thorough understanding of the prevailing business environment, industry and business process;
• You have extensive knowledge and application of the relevant professional standards, emerging laws and regulations and corporate governance requirements;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Bachelor degree in an Accounting/Commerce related discipline;
• Completion or near completion of CA/CPA;
• Strong SMSF knowledge;
• Demonstrable experience in meeting budgeted targets;
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work and communicate under pressure;
• Demonstrable experience in establishing client relationships;
• Relevant academic and statutory body qualifications and licences

Remuneration will be in line with market rates and your experience.
