The Opportunity
As our group expands, we are on the hunt for a creative and talented social Media & Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing Department. This is a three-day part time role, at various locations (our restaurants) within the city, with the scope to expand to four-days in the future. The right person should have a passion and knowledge for food and beverage, a firm grasp of brands and brand language, a creative eye, good poise and excellent communication skills, and the ability to take captivating photographs and videos. You will also be fluent in the latest Social Media trends and algorithms and be able to interpret social and digital analytics. Key Responsibilities
- Ideate, capture (photography and videography), create content for, and schedule and post Social Media content for the restaurant businesses within our group (Sunda, Aru, Antara, Parcs). Occasionally you may also be called upon to assist with this for our flagship – The Windsor hotel.
- Track and report on Social Media analytics on a weekly basis, keep abreast of industry trends, and foster and grow following, engagement and brand awareness for the group’s Social Media accounts.
- Liaise with the chefs, restaurant managers and beverage teams to organise shoots, identify areas/topics of interest, and gather and create content.
- Respond to – and engage with – comments and messages on the Social Media platforms.
- Identify and make recommendations to the Marketing Manager on Social Media strategies and campaigns.
- Creating paid social campaigns from time to time to support business needs.
- Identify potential partnership opportunities for the brands on Social Media.
- The job scope may also include other digital oriented work such as website updates and EDM creation, and for the future, setting up, tracking and maintaining the eCommerce for an online shop.
Skills
Being a creative-driven role, we are looking for someone with the ability to tell creative, interesting stories and identify story hooks. You are both strategic and organized, understand the distinction between different brands, and can speak in different brand languages.
- You enjoy writing, photography and videography, but also have the ability to analyse and interpret data
- You will be required to have skills in the following:
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, LightRoom, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Social scheduling software
- Google Analytics
- MailChimp (or equivalent CRM)
- DSLRs
- eCommerce platforms – advantageous
- A minimum of three+ years’ experience in Social Media / Digital Marketing
