Acute hospital palliative care and leave cover

• The Allied Health department provides a strong teamwork culture in both the professional teams and multi-disciplinary groups.

• Provide comprehensive assessment and bereavement support in consultation with the patient, their family, carers and significant others.
• Work across palliative care and critical care as required (0.6 EFT) with exposure to varied clinical scenarios and settings in leave cover (up to 0.4 EFT)
• Support and guide early career Social Workers through supervision.
• You will be well supported by Senior Social Workers on site, Social Work Clinical Lead (Grade 4), Social Work Manager, and the Social Work team.

• You have demonstrated hospital experience with a collaborative working style
• You have excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others.
• You are a qualified Social Worker, eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers with at least 4 years’ experience.
• You value working with supportive and dedicated health professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
