The role
We are seeking an experienced Azure and M365 Developer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in building and enhancing our technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, a strong background in Azure development, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role
We are seeking an experienced Azure and M365 Developer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in building and enhancing our technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, a strong background in Azure development, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The day-to-day responsibilities in the role include:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes and improve efficiency.
- Utilise detailed experience in the Azure stack to develop scalable and secure cloud-based applications and services.
- Create applications that work seamlessly with Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. This includes the capability to develop add-ins that enhance the functionality of the Microsoft Office productivity suite.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead the development of secure coding practices and adhere to industry standards for data protection and privacy.
- Maintain documentation and version control of code repositories to ensure transparency and accessibility.
- Demonstrate interest in developing solutions in the data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence space.
- Prioritise tasks effectively and communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
As our successful candidate you will ideally have 5 years of relevant experience in software development, with a focus on Azure and M365 full stack development and dev ops. Specific desired experience includes:
- Skills in DevOps in Azure to create, manage and deploy environments for application development
- Possess knowledge of AWS cloud services as a nice-to-have, with the ability to adapt and learn new technologies as needed.
- Knowledge of web services and protocols such as REST, SOAP, and HTTP, and how to consume and expose them securely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and the ability to write clean and maintainable code.
- Familiarity with API design principles and best practices, and how to create well-documented and user-friendly APIs.
- Experience with building MS Office add-ins preferred.
