We are seeking a Solution Architect to join an exciting new project for one of our premium clients based in Victoria.
Initial contract will be of 6 months starting April 2024 with a potential 6 months of extensions.
Hybrid work model with min 3 days working on site and 2 days' work from home. Occasionally the work may be required to visit other locations within Victoria.
You will be Responsible for:
The requirement is for Solution Architect Services to provide the following services:
- Develop Solution Architectures to meet business needs and employ best practice methodologies and frameworks to create and review solutions that guide the development and deployment of information systems.
- Develop Solution Architecture and associated documentation and artefacts that are in-line with established principles, frameworks and guidelines.
- Develop the overall vision that underlies the proposed solution and transforms that vision through execution into the desired business outcome, within the context of the strategic direction of client.
- Conduct meetings and workshops as required to elicit and document the current state pain points, desired future state, and requirements to complete the Business Requirements Document, to the agreed template.
- Prepare briefs and reports to comply with delivery governance and product and domain management oversight.
- Conduct meetings and workshops as required to complete the design deliverables to the agreed template.
- Engage with various external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from the Frontline Mobility team to gather requirements and design the system architecture for the solution. This will include determining the necessary hardware, software, cloud components, as well as Dev and Test tools, CI CD tools / processes.
Mandatory Skills required for the role:
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools, such as Jira, and familiarity with Agile software development practices.
- Strong understanding of business process modelling, workflow automation, and process optimization concepts.
- Proficiency in software development methodologies, such as Agile or DevOps, and experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts and requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nature of the role requires candidates to be an Australian citizen. Who are required to undergo security vetting for a baseline security clearance or Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
