We are looking for a result oriented, energetic Solution Architect – SAP, who will be responsible for creating and developing all components of solutions architectures, with a primary focus on driving the delivery of new technology solutions, particularly within SAP systems, to facilitate growth and enhance end-user outcomes across the organisation.
The ideal candidate for the position of Solution Architect SAP brings proven expertise in the cross-functional aspects of SAP S/4 HANA, ARIBA, SuccessFactors, and other SAP systems, including proficiency in enterprise integrations using middleware tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities

• The Solutions Architect SAP undertakes the analysis of current and planned Solution Architecture deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder and customer needs through sound Business Requirements Specifications (BRS). The focus is on bridging the gap between customer expectations and IT capabilities.
• The architect maintains and take ownership of the Solution Architecture for the Enterprise Applications platform, with a particular emphasis on SAP, contributing to solutions within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• The role involves the development of architectures, technical designs, and solutions for programs or projects.
• The Solutions Architect oversees the development, testing, and implementation of solutions, reporting on delivery commitments to meet agreed timeframes.
• As the lead technical representative for specified business units or divisions, the Solutions Architect liaises with third parties and vendors/suppliers. They advocate program or project solutions, communicate technical designs, and drive delivery against stakeholder needs, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
• The Solutions Architect ensures Solution Assurance, focusing on end-to-end Solution Architecture and facilitating a team of IT domain specialists and business leads to address project design issues.
• Architecture reviews are conducted according to agreed plans, assessing compliance with architecture.
• Finally, the role involves developing internal capabilities and cultivating external partnerships to enable the delivery of technology for innovation experiments and pilots.

To be successful in the role, you must have:

• At least minimum of 5 years in all facets of Solution Architecture at a senior level, candidates should demonstrate a strong emphasis on SAP. Successful candidates will showcase proven architecture and analytical skills, highlighting their ability to achieve outcomes through influential collaboration.
• Experience working with projects as a Solution Architect to deliver outcomes in SAP S/4 HANA and other related Enterprise applications is essential. Candidates must possess essential cross-modular experience within SAP, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of its various modules. Experience is Solution Design on the SAP Upgrade from ECC to SAP S/4 HANA with impact assessment, discovery and solution delivery of the upgrade roadmap is essential. Experience with managing impact assessment of the User Experience design and Process improvement in the upgrade project is advantageous.
• Candidates with experience as a solutions architect on projects exceeding $10 million, particularly within the context of large-scale government projects, are highly desirable. Candidates should showcase delivery experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools. Prior experience with other cloud services and infrastructure, including AZURE, AWS, SAP S/4 HANA and ServiceNow, is expected.
• Proven success in partnering with external technology organizations is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate a strong ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• The ability to understand new technologies and effectively communicate their concepts and relevance in business terms to stakeholders is essential.
• Successful candidates will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, coupled with experience in navigating complex situations.
