AddressYou will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of technical solutions for several business streams within a financial services business. The ideal candidate will have a come from a financial services background with strong skills across either mortgages, payments, data disposition, lending or open banking. This role also requires knowledge of Microsoft tech stacks and the ability manage several vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Specking into various vendors and figuring out what system will be best moving forward.
- Architecture on a project by project basis - moving to a more holistic approach.
- The ability to be able move between different technologies and spaces (ie payments, core banking, documents, etc).
- Working extensively with Data flows, modern data warehouse etc.
- Responsible for building out an in house Architecture team/solution.
- Design and implement complex systems and infrastructure.
- Act as a liaison between the technical team and other departments
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the technical team.
- Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and meet industry standards.
- Working end to end on a multitude of projects.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Solution Architect.
- Banking/Financial Services solution architecture experience highly preferable.
- Experience with mortgages and/or asset finance highly preferable.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple domains within a financial organisation.
- Ability to create practical architectural solutions.
- Knowledge of Payments systems preferable.
- Experience with real time and batch integration mechanisms.
- Experience with working in an Agile workplace.
- Experience in creating architectural artefacts and outputs.
