D'Arcy Weil is representing a leading provider of innovative energy storage solutions to enhance grid reliability, optimize renewable energy integration, and support the transition to a sustainable energy future.In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for driving sales of client's energy storage solutions by identifying customer needs, developing tailored proposals, and building strong relationships with clients in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities for energy storage solutions.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their energy storage requirements and develop customized solutions to meet their needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to key stakeholders, including utility companies, independent power producers, and commercial/industrial customers.
- Work closely with internal engineering and product development teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with technical specifications and customer expectations.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to secure new business and meet sales targets.
- Provide ongoing support to customers throughout the sales process, including answering technical questions, addressing concerns, and facilitating project implementation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote BESS solutions and expand the company's presence in the market.
- Track sales activities, pipeline development, and customer interactions using CRM software and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to develop sales collateral, case studies, and other materials to support sales efforts.
- Act as a subject matter expert on energy storage technology and industry trends, providing insights and guidance to customers and internal teams as needed.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and business development efforts to drive long-term growth and success.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in technical sales or business development roles, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong understanding of energy storage technologies, grid infrastructure, and renewable energy integration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, understand their business needs effectively.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
