We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sales Engineer/Solution Engineer in the IT Network domain to lead customer engagements, solution design, and independent project delivery. This role requires strong business and technical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage projects efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Sales Team and engage with customer to understand their technical needs and design tailored network solutions that match prospects goals and business needs.
- Create compelling proposals, respond to RFPs, and develop comprehensive bidding documents. Prepare plans, quotes, and procurement activities from a technical perspective.
- Oversee projects from initiation to completion, managing resources, timelines, and project scopes effectively. Collaborate with project teams and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
- Cultivate and nurture strong customer relationships.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Support all post-sales activities.
Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of IT network infrastructure, including but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, and related hardware.
- Proficiency in Cisco and Huawei products, with HCIP/CCNP (or higher) certifications being highly desirable.
- Strong grasp of CheckPoint firewalls, Fortigate, Palo Alto, F5 load balancers, Layer 2/3 networking, and familiarity with Voice/Unified Communications.
- Broad IT knowledge covering systems, servers, storage, backup, virtualization, CCTV, security systems, AV, etc.
- Proficient in producing high-quality technical documentation, efficiently resolving network issues, and articulating complex technical concepts clearly.
- Motivation to continuously learn new products and solutions, keeping updated with emerging technologies to enhance the role.
- Proven experience in IT Network roles such as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Network Engineer, Consulting, or project delivery.
- Capability to work independently, within a team, multitask, prioritize, and effectively manage time in a fast-paced sales environment.
- PMP certificate or similar project management certifications is a significant advantage.
