Sous Chef Responsibilities
• Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
• Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards in keeping the integrity and simplicity of Italian Cuisine and its flavour
• Forecast food requirements effectively and efficiently and food cost accordingly
• Supervise kitchen staff's activities
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
• Monitoring staff levels and wage cost through effective rostering
Requirements
• MUST BE a Resident of Australia or Eligible to work in Australia for more than 2 years .
• Minimum qualification required is a diploma or at least 3 years experience as a chef or pizzaiolo in an Italian restaurant environment
• Communication and leadership skills
